Puff Herd

About the game

Puff Herd is a herding game with a twist: your little cloud creature cannot touch anything. All it can do is blow. Twelve fluffy puffs drift around a meadow, and every player owns a fenced pen in one corner. Get behind a puff, take a deep breath and gust it toward your pen. Several puffs in the wind at once? Even better.

A puff that stays inside a pen for five seconds falls asleep and scores a point for that pen’s owner, and a fresh puff pops out in the middle of the field. Rivals can sneak in and blow your puffs back out before they doze off, and your breath meter runs dry if you blow for too long. Halfway through, a golden puff worth three points appears and everyone rushes for it.

Rounds last two minutes and the most points wins. Play against one to three computer opponents on easy, medium or hard, right in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer.

How to play

1. You can’t push puffs by touching them. Get behind one and hold to blow it away from you.
2. A puff that stays 5 seconds in your corner pen falls asleep: +1 point.
3. Blowing uses breath and slows you down. Let go to catch your breath.
4. Blow puffs out of rival pens before they sleep. The golden puff at 1:00 is worth 3.

Your creature walks toward the mouse; hold the left button to blow toward it. Or move with WASD and hold Space to blow.

Phone & tablet

Drag anywhere to move and hold the BLOW button to blow the way you are facing.
