About the game
Goal Rush is football boiled down to its best bits. The pitch is walled in like an air hockey table, so there are no throw-ins and no stoppages: the ball is always live, and a shot that misses can bounce straight back into play. Run into the ball to dribble it, tap to pass or poke it away, and hold the button to charge a power shot that rockets across the pitch.
Matches last two minutes or until a team scores five. If the score is level at full time, a golden goal decides it, and if nobody scores in the extra 30 seconds it ends in a draw. Every goal comes with slow motion, confetti and a roaring crowd, then the team that conceded kicks off from the center.
Play 1v1 or team up with a bot for 2v2 against computer opponents on three difficulty levels. The bots chase, defend and hit angled shots off the walls. Or grab a friend and play head to head on one keyboard or one phone, with bot teammates if you like.
How to play
- Move your player and run into the ball to dribble it.
- Tap KICK to kick the ball when it is close. Hold to charge a power shot, then let go.
- The walls keep the ball in play. Bank shots off them to beat the keeper.
- First to 5 goals, or the leader after 2:00, wins. A tie goes to golden goal.
Controls
- Computer

Questions
Can two people play Goal Rush on one device?
Yes. Pick "2 Players": on a keyboard one player uses WASD + Space and the other the arrow keys + Enter. On a phone or tablet each player gets half of the screen. You can add a bot teammate to each side for 2v2.
How do power shots work?
Hold the kick button and a ring fills around your player for up to 0.8 seconds. Let go while the ball is in front of you: the fuller the ring, the harder the shot. You move a little slower while charging.
What happens if the match is tied?
At 2:00 a tied match goes to golden goal: the next goal wins. If nobody scores within 30 seconds, the match ends in a draw.
Is Goal Rush free?
Yes. It runs in your browser on desktop and mobile with no download or sign-up.
