About the game
Color Flood turns the classic flood-fill puzzle into a race for territory. Every player starts in a corner of a colorful grid. On your turn you choose a color: your whole region switches to it and swallows every neighboring cell of that color. The bigger your region grows, the more it touches, and the bigger your next move can be.
The twist is that nobody may pick a color another player is holding. Choosing a color is also a way to deny it, so sometimes the best move is the one that blocks the player about to take a huge chunk of the board. Gold stars are worth three points each, which gives every region a reason to push toward the middle.
A match takes about two minutes. Play against three levels of computer opponents, or pass one phone or tablet around with up to four friends.
How to play
- You own the corner marked with your color.
- On your turn, pick a color. Your region turns that color and absorbs all touching cells of the same color.
- Colors held by another player are blocked. Picking a color blocks it for everyone else.
- Each cell is 1 point, each star is 3. Highest score when the board fills up wins.

Questions
Can I play Color Flood with friends?
Yes. Choose "Same Device" and pass the phone, tablet or computer around. Up to four people can play.
Why are some colors greyed out?
Those colors are currently held by another player. Nobody may pick a color someone else is holding.
Is Color Flood free?
Yes. It runs in your browser on desktop and mobile with no download or sign-up.
